HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
CHANDRESH!

You take things apart to see how they tick. So this year, the gift is a whole world to build in. Welcome to the server.

Two birthdays? Overpowered.

Your birth certificate says July 6thβ€” so today the whole squad sings. But biologically, you didn't actually render into the world until 2:00Β AM on July 7th (IST). So the realspawn moment is still loading…

Certificate says the 6th β€’ Physics says the 7th β€’ You cheat the system and get both. Double XP weekend, basically.

There's a reason it's Minecraft.

You've always been the one who takes things apart to see how they tick β€” who'd rather build the thing and modularize it than buy it off a shelf. Minecraft is a whole world made for exactly that.

You can wire up Redstone β€” in-game circuits with real logic gates and wiring β€” into machines that actually dosomething: automate a farm, rig a combination lock, trip a trap the second someone walks in. People have pushed it so far they've built working CPUs and calculators, actual computers running Minecraft inside Minecraft, out of redstone, entirely inside the game.

It's a sandbox for people who build things, and I couldn't think of a single person it fits better. So I spun up a private world on a self-hosted server on my Linux box. I'd love for you to play in it with me β€” and we can invite a lot more players in.

It's really just three steps, done once. Keep this page handy. β–Ό

How to join from your PS5

Three steps. Done once. It's fully reversible β€” nothing about your internet changes for good.

1

The part only I can do

β†’ SEND ME YOUR GAMERTAG

The world is private, so I have to let you in by hand. Open Minecraft and sign in with an Xbox / Microsoft account (free to make if you don't have one). Then text me your gamertag and I'll add you to the guest list.

Until I do, it'll say you're not allowed in β€” that's normal. It just means I haven't opened the door yet. πŸšͺ

2

Point your PS5 at the door

β†’ CHANGE ONE NETWORK SETTING

PlayStation won't let you type a server address directly, so we use a free, well-known community tool called BedrockConnect. You change one DNS setting, once β€” and it's fully reversible.

  1. β€ΊSettings β†’ Network β†’ Settings β†’ Set Up Internet Connection
  2. β€ΊPick your Wi-Fi (or wired) network, then choose Custom.
  3. β€ΊLeave everything on Automatic until you reach DNS Settings β€” set that to Manual, then enter:
Primary DNS
45.55.68.52
Secondary DNS
8.8.8.8

Leave the rest on Automatic and finish. (If it won't save, restart the PS5 and try once more.)

3

Dive in

β†’ CONNECT TO THE WORLD

  1. β€ΊOpen Minecraft β†’ Play β†’ Servers tab.
  2. β€ΊStart to join any featured server β€” Mineville, Lifeboat, The Hive, Galaxite, any of them. Instead of loading, a BedrockConnect menu pops up.
  3. β€ΊChoose Connect to a Server, then enter the address and port below.

Hit connect β€” and you're in our world. 🌍
